The new Haenel zeroing target in DIN A4 format* is now available as a free download. The target is designed for precise rifle zeroing and provides clear reference lines for accurate point-of-impact verification.<\/p>\n<\/div>

* When printing the PDF, make sure to select \u201c100%\u201d or \u201cactual size.\u201d Do not use automatic page scaling to ensure the dimensions of the zeroing target remain accurate.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

How to zero a rifle:<\/h2><\/h4><\/div>
    \n
  1. \n

    Stabilize the rifle
    \n<\/b><\/b>Place the rifle in a stable, reproducible shooting rest to minimize shooter-induced errors.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Fire the first shot group
    \n<\/b><\/b>Typically fire a three-shot group at a defined distance (usually 100 m) to determine the current point of impact.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Measure the point of impact
    \n<\/b><\/b>Determine the deviation of the group in elevation and windage, measured in centimeters or scope clicks.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    Adjust the scope
    \n<\/b>Adjust the elevation and windage turrets according to the manufacturer\u2019s specifications. Common values are 1\/4 MOA \/ 0,1 MRAD or 1 cm per click at 100 m.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    Fire a control group
    \n<\/b><\/b>After the adjustment, fire another shot group to verify the effect of the changes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  6. \n

    Perform fine adjustments
    \n<\/b><\/b> If deviations remain, apply additional fine corrections until the point of impact precisely matches the desired zero point.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  7. \n

    Define the zeroing distance
    \n<\/b>Optionally adjust to the preferred zeroing distance, such as MPBR<\/b><\/span> (maximum point blank range), depending on caliber, load and intended use.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  8. \n

    Final check and documentation
